Michael Jackson: The Victory Tour
Published in Hardcover by Quality Books (October, 1984)
Authors: David Levenson and Outlet
Average review score:

Great book! About the Victory tour. lots of pictures
This is an excellent book done on Michael and his brothers. Big hardback. Probably fifty or more photos. There's a small summary about the concert itself, i.e. lights go down jacksons walk down the stage, breaking into michael's single "wannabe startin' somethin', etc. That's about it with the words, everything else are photos. None show Billie Jean unfortunately, i think all the ones that appear to be taken during billie jean are from "shake Your Body" because he doesn't have a glove on. They don't show the monsters or much of the special effects. If you would like more words about the tour check out "on the road with michael" he's in the same jumpsuit as the cover of this book. it's a little paperback.

The Millionaire and the Cowgirl

:)
We are introduced to Kyle in the first of the Fortune's Children series Hired Husband. We learn that Kyle is a millionaire playboy. In this book, Kyle learns that his grandmother Kate has left him a ranch in Wyoming, but for him to inherit it he must live there for at least six months. Kate and all her wisdom knew that ten years ago Kyle had a summer romance with Samantha Rawlings, neighbor of the Wyoming ranch. Kate also knew that Sam's daughter was Kyle's. So, match-making from "beyond the grave" she makes sure that Kyle is put into a position that he is sure to find out about his daughter. How Kyle and Sam handle the situation is beyond Kate's control.

I am starting to see how the series will unfold and I am not only enjoying it, but I can't wait for the next one.

A Molehill is a Mountain
Published in Paperback by T. Joy Andrea Publishers (July, 2000)
Authors: Jacquelin S. McCord, Jesse L. Jackson Sr, and Darrell Pulliam
Average review score:

Every parent must read this book with their children!
Thank you Jacuqelin McCord for this wake up call. It's so easy to forget what its like to be a child and how things that we consider unimportant are important to children. This story is such a wonderful way of working through the issue of fogiveness for parents who love their children but sometimes fall short of being perfect. I hope that many parents will read this book!

More Costumes for the Stage
Published in Paperback by New Amsterdam Books (April, 1998)
Authors: Sheila Jackson and Shelia Jackson
Average review score:

Great costume resource
"More costumes for the stage" is an excellent resource for anyone interested in historical costumes - especially if information is needed about garments from a wide range of cultures.

Diagrams, drawings and patterns are included on almost every page with chapters about fabrics, masks, costume building, accessories and the workplace. Costume information ranges from ancient Egyptian, Ancient Greek, Roman, Medieval, The renaissance, 17th century, 18th century, The Regency, the 19th century, 1895-1939 and WW2. Ethnic, carnival and animal costumes also make an appearance. For anyone interested in learning more about costume, historical dress or about to help out in a local performance, this guide is invaluable.

The only fault I could find is that perhaps the pictures on some pages are too clutered, but this is made up for by the easy to use layout of the book. Well worth the money.

The Most Beautiful Tree in the Forest

About a tree who learns that beauty isn't everything.
There was once a tree in the forest.....and she thought that she was too beautiful to associate with the forest creatures and the children. So begins a story of conceit, selfishness, and cruelty.Whenever the children and animals tried to befriend her, she would find some way to drive them away. Her attitude continues until one cold winter, she learns the truth of real beauty. The tree finally realizes that beauty is only "bark deep" and to be happy, she must change her ways in order to be contented in the end.

Munchkin: Kill the Monsters, Steal the Treasure, Stab Your Buddy
Published in Unknown Binding by Steve Jackson Games (March, 2002)
Authors: Steve Jackson, John Kovalic, and Steve Jackson Games
Average review score:

Not a book a game but WHAT A GAME!
...this card game is simple, fun and a riot for any person who has ever played D & D,

In Munchkin you are dealt a hand of cards. Each player starts off as first level, you play items and draw cards, and when you see a monster you fight it, and what monsters, The Potted Pland, the Drooling Slime, the Plutonium Dragon, the stoned Ogre, you get the idea.

You are helped by items such as Don the Horny Helmet, Boots of Butt-Kicking, the singing and dancing sword, but beware, the people you play with might help the monsters to help themselves to your treasure. They may help you instead, for a price that is.

It is very simple, if the strength of your weapons and level combined are higher than the monsters level (enhanced by your foes) you win and get treasure cards and go up a level or you can buy a level for 1000 gold by selling items.

The game is fast paced and very tounge - in - cheek. The maker says it "captures the essence of the dungeon experience...with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff."

Simple, fast paced and full of fun, buy this one...

My Baby in Motion
Published in Spiral-bound by Imprints Publishing (July, 2001)
Author: Benjamin Jackson
Average review score:

"My Baby In Motion" A keepsake baby history book/album
Don't say cheese, no pun intended! "My Baby In Motion," was designed to capture photographically and in verse a baby's natural progressions from birth through its 1st birthday. The element of surprise is therefore the key to taking photos by the parents or someone else of its spontaneous reactions. It has whimsical captions such as "Mom I'm not crying this is just my way of sending you an ear-mail!" This verse and others along with cleverly illustrated parodies of what a baby might say and do if it could talk is sheer entertainment, and fun while also documenting each month of baby's developmental process. Other notable features are its see-through photo pockets, front page photo frames, family tree, medical record/doctor visits, identification pockets and note pages. This book/album is the perfect serious, but fun-filled must have gift for new
and expectant mothers. To make the most effective use instructions included.

The Nance Museum: A Journey Into Traditional Saudi Arabia
Published in Hardcover by The Nance Museum (10 April, 1999)
Author: Paul J. Nance
Average review score:

Excellent Book on Middle Eastern Culture
This book, written by Paul J. Nance, is one of the best reference books I have ever seen. I recently purchased the book and I find its contents and full color pictures very exciting. Whether you plan on traveling to the Middle East, or if you just want to learn about the culture, this is the book to read.

This book has several first rate accounts of Paul J. Nance's thirty two years in the Middle East. He worked for Aramco Oil Company in Saudi Arabia during this time and he acquired quite a bit of knowledge. Since his return to America he has started a collection of Middle Eastern artifacts and art. The book details many of the artifacts in his Museum, and is extremely helpful in learning about Middle Eastern culture.

This book can change the way you look at the Islamic religion. Before I looked at the book and visited the Museum of Mr. Nance I knew very little about the Arabian Penninsula.
